PocketPilot AI ("PocketPilot," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the PocketPilot AI mobile app and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

• Account information, including name, email address, authentication provider information, and profile settings.
• Financial information from linked accounts through Plaid, including institution names, balances, transactions, transaction categories, and account metadata.
• Subscription information through Apple in-app purchases and RevenueCat, including entitlement and purchase status.
• App usage, diagnostics, device information, crash logs, and performance information.
• Financial setup, goals, spending patterns, and app activity used to personalize AI coaching and nudges.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Provide budgeting, financial insights, AI coaching, spending forecasts, and accountability features.
• Generate nudges, Shield experiences, Arena scoring, and progress feedback.
• Manage subscription access and purchase status.
• Improve app reliability, security, performance, and user experience.
• Provide customer support and comply with legal or App Store requirements.

3. Third-Party Services

PocketPilot AI works with trusted third-party providers, including:

• Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, cloud functions, analytics, and infrastructure.
• Plaid for secure financial account linking and transaction access.
• RevenueCat and Apple for subscription entitlement and in-app purchase management.
• AI service providers for generating coaching, insights, forecasts, and spending guidance.

These providers process data according to their own privacy and security practices.

4. Financial Account Credentials

PocketPilot AI does not receive or store your bank username or password. Financial account linking is handled through Plaid.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share information only as needed to provide app functionality, process subscriptions, connect financial accounts, operate cloud infrastructure, comply with legal requirements, or protect users and our services.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Some information may be retained for legal, security, backup, fraud prevention, or accounting purposes.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You may request account or data deletion by contacting us at support@pocketpilot.co. If available in the app, you may also delete your account from Profile or Settings. You can also review deletion steps at pocketpilot.co/account-deletion. Deleting your account may remove your profile, financial setup, linked-account references, app data, and related records, subject to legally required retention.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

PocketPilot AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Your Choices

You may choose not to link a financial account, disconnect linked accounts, edit manual financial setup information, request account deletion, or manage subscriptions through your Apple account.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app or by updating the effective date.
